To close the busy & productive year 2022, the VEHICLE consortium was able to meet in person in the beautiful ancient town of Vic in Catalonia, Spain. The BETA team hosted the consortium for a two-day meeting.

On April 11th-12th 2022 the first hybrid VEHICLE consortium meeting (M36), after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe in March 2020, was successfully arranged in Espoo, Finland and hosted by the Spinverse team.

Kemira team successfully presented the presentation "Lignin-carbohydrate complex as biobased polymer additive for paperboard applications" during ACS Spring 2022 virtual conference in March 20-24, 2022. Also, the abstract "Cellulose surface modification by lignin-carbohydrate polymers" submitted for the EWLP conference in Gothenburg, Sweden on June 28th - July 1st, 2022 has been accepted for an oral presentation.
MetGen team took part in two conferences - ABLC 2022 in Washington DC, USA (March 16th-18th) and BIOKET 2022 in Lille, France (March 15th-17th).
